RESTART COMPLEX CAUTION: This command ungracefully halts all processing across the HP Integrity Superdome 2 complex. This can cause partitions in the complex to lose data and possibly become unstable. Do not use this command unless you have tried the following recovery methods: • Restarting the OA with the RESTART OA command. • Restarting partitions. • Restarting the Xbar Fabric by the following method: 1. Shut down all partitions. 2. Power off the Xbar Fabric with the POWEROFF XFABRIC command. 3. Power on the Xbar Fabric with the POWERON XFABRIC command. 4. Restart partitions. • Command: RESTART COMPLEX [FORCE] • Description: Restarts the complex by the following method: 1. Powers off all system blades, XFMs, IOX enclosures, interconnect modules, and GPSMs. 2. Restarts the active OA. 3. Powers on XFMs. 4. Restarts partitions that were active when the command was run. • Access level/Bay level: OA Administrator • Restrictions: ◦ The command does not run unless the FORCE argument is used. The command will print a warning message and then exit if the FORCE argument is not used. ◦ You must be connected to the monarch OA. SET COMPLEX NAME • Command: SET COMPLEX NAME {} • Description: ◦ Changes the complex name. ◦ The default complex name is Complex1. • Access level/Bay level: OA Administrator, OA Operator • Restrictions: ◦ The must be 1 to 20 characters long and includes all alphanumeric, underscore (_), dash (-), dot (.) and space characters. ◦ You must be connected to the monarch OA.
