Removal and Replacement Procedures ✎ The following note applies only to computer models using Intel processors: The thermal pads should be thoroughly cleaned from the surfaces of the fan/heat sink assembly 1 and 3, video memory chip 2, and processor 4 each time the fan/heat sink assembly is removed.
