Speaker assembly Description Speaker assembly Spare part number 603694-001 Before removing the speaker assembly: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first disconnecting the power cord from the AC outlet and then disconnecting the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the following components: a. Battery on page 43 b. Hard drive cover on page 44 c. Hard drive on page 45 d. Optical drive on page 52 e. Keyboard on page 53 f. Top cover on page 55 g. Touchscreen display assembly on page 60 or BrightView display assembly on page 65 To remove the speaker assembly: 1. Remove the three screws (1) securing the speaker assembly to the base enclosure. 2. Disconnect the speaker assembly cable (2) from the system board. ENWW Component replacement procedures 73

Before removing the speaker assembly:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the

2.

3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first disconnecting the power cord from the AC outlet

1.
