The following configurations will fail the spinsilk test; use the minicycle test instead: • Mixed SAN Director 2/128 Director (with either CP4 or FC4-16 blades) • Pure 4/256 SAN Director, option 1 "Pure 4/256 SAN Director" refers to a Director with CP4 and FC4-16 blades only. LSAN zoning considerations If a switch running Fabric OS 5.2.x is connected to the edge of a fabric with LSAN zones configured, any switch in that edge fabric running a Fabric OS release prior to 5.2.x will not be able to commit to any zoning transactions. If a fabric contains switches running, for example, Fabric OS 4.4.0, 5.1.1 and 5.2.1b and LSAN zones are configured, all zone changes need to originate from the switch running the latest Fabric OS release (in this case 5.2.1b).
