Enhancements This section describes Fabric OS 5.1.1b enhancements. tsTimeZone command The Energy Policy Act of 2005 changed the time change dates for Daylight Saving Time (DST) in the US. Beginning in 2007, DST will begin on the second Sunday of March and end the first Sunday of November. A new time was added to the zone format to allow you to set up time zones by region; DST is then automatically adjusted. The tsTimeZone command is used to display or set the time zone as follows: • tstimezone [hourOffset [, minuteOffset]] hourOffset (optional) - Specify the number of hours relative to GMT; must be an integer. Valid values are -12 through 12. minuteOffset (optional) - Specify the number of minutes relative to the hourOffset value; must be an integer. Valid values are -30, 0, or 30. The hourOffset can be specified without a minuteOffset, which then defaults to zero. • tstimezone - zonename - The name of the zoneinfo time zone; will vary as additional time zones are added.
