Component Interface Functions Service Provider Functions for Components DmiRegisterCi() Registers a callable interface for components that have resident instrumentation code and/or to get the version of the DMI SP. Components cannot register with regInfo->componentId=1. That ID is reserved for the Service Provider. The DMI SP sends the signal SIGUSR2 when it has come up after a planned restart. The CI must then use this call and re-register with the SP.
