MAINTENANCE WARNING: Before performing any maintenance, make sure the tool is unplugged from the power supply. Failure to comply could result in accidental starting and possible serious personal injury. CHAIN TENSIONING KNOB WARNING: When servicing, use only identical Homelite replacement parts. Use of any other parts may create a hazard or cause product damage. WARNING: Always wear eye protection with side shields marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1, along with head protection. Failure to do so could result in objects being thrown into your eyes and other possible serious injuries. CHAIN COVER LOCK KNOB MOUNTING SURFACE Fig. 26 BAR GENERAL MAINTENANCE Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, lubricant, grease, etc. WARNING: Do not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based products, penetrating lubricants, etc., come in contact with plastic parts. Chemicals can damage, weaken or destroy plastic which may result in serious personal injury. LUBRICATION All of the bearings in this product are lubricated with a sufficient amount of high grade lubricant for the life of the unit under normal operating conditions. LUBRICATION
All of the bearings in this product are lubricated with
a sufficient amount of high grade lubricant for the
life of the unit under normal operating conditions.
Therefore, no further lubrication is required.
