12 ACCESSORIES 12.5 Installing/Removing the Rear Mounted Basket ƽ WARNING The rear mounted basket is rated for a maximum capacity of ten lbs. After ANY adjustments, repair or service and before use, make sure that all attaching hardware is tightened securely. The installation of the basket and basket bracket onto the back of the scooter seat increases the length of the scooter. When turning the scooter or swiveling the scooter seat, it is important to take note of this increased length - otherwise, injury and/or damage to surrounding property may occur.  For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 12.5. Installing 1. Loosen but DO NOT remove the mounting knob. 2. Install the basket bracket into the accessory tube. 3. Thread the mounting knob into the welded nut on the accessory tube. Securely tighten. 4. Align the mounting clips on the bracket with the slots on the basket and slide the basket down securely into position. Removing 1. Remove the basket from the bracket. 2. Loosen the mounting knob. 3. Remove the basket bracket from the accessory tube. 4. Tighten the mounting knob. Installing/Removing the Rear Mounted Basket
Installing
1.
Loosen but DO NOT remove the mounting knob.
2.
Install the basket bracket into the accessory tube.
3.
Thread the mounting knob into the welded nut on the accessory
tube. Securely tighten.
4.
Align the mounting clips on the bracket with the slots on the basket
and slide the basket down securely into position.
Removing
1.
Remove the basket from the bracket.
2.
Loosen the mounting knob.
3.
Remove the basket bracket from the accessory tube.
4.
Tighten the mounting knob.
