Setting Up Security Code When the Security Code function is activated, the code cannot be changed and the function cannot be released. Note the Security Code can be set as the 4 digit number of your choice. 1 Touch [Security Code Set] on the Security screen. Security Code Set screen appears. 2 Enter a security code with four-digit number and touch [Enter]. Display Setup 1 Press the button/ volume knob. Popup menu appears. 2 Touch [SETUP]. SETUP Menu screen appears. 3 Touch [Display]. 3 Enter the same code again and touch [Enter]. Now, your security code is registered. NOTE • Touch [BS] to delete the last entry. • If you enter a different security code, the screen returns to step 4 (for the first code entry). • if you have disconnected the Receiver from battery, enter the correct security code as that you have entered in step 4 and touch [Enter]. You can use your receiver. To change the security code: 1 Touch [Security Code Change] on the Security screen, then repeat step 2 and 3. To clear the security code: 1 Touch [Security Code Cancellation] on the Security screen. Display screen appears. 4 Set each item as follows. Dimmer Select dimmer mode. OFF: The display and buttons do not dim. ON: The display and buttons dim. SYNC (Default): Turns the dimmer function on or off when the vehicle light control switch is turned on or off. NAV-SYNC: Turns the dimmer function on or off according to the Navigation Day/Night display setting. 84

Security Code
When the Security Code function is
activated, the code cannot be changed
and the function cannot be released. Note
the Security Code can be set as the 4 digit
number of your choice.

Touch [Security Code Set] on the
Security screen.
Security Code Set screen appears.

Enter a security code with four-digit
number and touch [Enter].

Enter the same code again and touch
[Enter].
Now, your security code is registered.
NOTE
• Touch [BS] to delete the last entry.
• If you enter a different security code, the screen
returns to step 4 (for the first code entry).
• if you have disconnected the Receiver from
battery, enter the correct security code as that
you have entered in step 4 and touch [Enter]. You
can use your receiver.
To change the security code:

Touch [Security Code Change] on the
Security screen, then repeat step 2 and
3.
To clear the security code:

Touch [Security Code Cancellation] on
the Security screen.
Display Setup

Press the
<MENU> button/
volume knob.
Popup menu appears.

Touch [SETUP].
SETUP Menu screen appears.

Touch [Display].
Display screen appears.

Set each item as follows.
Dimmer
Select dimmer mode.
OFF:
The display and buttons do not dim.
ON:
The display and buttons dim.
SYNC (Default):
Turns the dimmer function on
or off when the vehicle light control switch
is turned on or off.
NAV-SYNC:
Turns the dimmer function on or
off according to the Navigation Day/Night
display setting.
