REMOVING THE UPPER CONVECTION RING ELEMENT AND CONVECTION FAN MOTOR WARNING 4. To remove the convection ring element: a) Remove the two screws from the element brackets. Ring Element Electrical Shock Hazard Disconnect power before servicing. Replace all parts and panels before operating. Failure to do so can result in death or electrical shock. 1. Unplug oven or disconnect power. 2. Open the upper oven door. 3. Remove the seven screws from the con- vection cover and remove the cover. Convection Ring Element & Fan Motor Ring Element Screws b) Pull the convection ring element forward far enough to access the two wire connectors. c) Disconnect the wire connectors from the convection ring element terminals and remove the element.
