4 Application Software 4.3 PageScope Job Spooler The following describe the functions and operation of PageScope Job Spooler version 1.5 or later. PageScope Job Spooler is utility software for providing an integrated control of jobs of MFPs connected to a network. It is a server and client system. The dedicated server software is installed on the server side and a client uses a web browser for accessing this machine. When an attempt is made to gain access to the machine through PageScope Job Spooler, the user is authenticated to be an authorized user by using an 8-to-64-digit User Password and an 8-digit User Box Password. During the authentication procedure, the User Password entered for the authentication purpose appears as "*" on the display. When the Enhanced Security Mode is set to [ON], the number of times in which authentication fails is counted.
