16 INSTALLATION 7 Reassemble the door on the cabinet using the screws removed in step 1. Make sure that the door opens, closes and latches properly. Stacking the Appliance Stacking Kit Overview In order to stack the appliance, an LG stacking kit is required. Stacking Kit Installation WARNING • The weight of the appliance and the height of installation make this stacking procedure too risky for one person. Two or more people are required when installing the stacking kit. • Place the washer on a solid, stable, level floor capable of supporting the weight of both appliances. • Do not stack the washer on top of the dryer. • If appliances are already installed, disconnect them from all power, water, and drainage connections. 1 Place the appliance on the top of an LG front load washing machine. 2 Remove the 1 screw from the bottom of the rear cover on each side. a Dryer b LG Front Load Washing Machine The appliance may only be stacked on top of an LG front load washing machine. Do not attempt to stack the appliance on any other washing machine, as it could result in damage, injury or property damage.
