Status indicators Indicator Status Green a Power and Blinking battery Green status indicator Amber Blinking amber Off b Hard disk drive On indicator Meaning • The battery has a charge between 20% and 100% and the AC adapter is not connected to the computer. • The battery has a charge between 80% and 100% and the AC power adapter is connected to the computer. • The battery has a charge between 20% and 80% and the AC power adapter is connected to the computer. • The computer is in sleep mode. The battery has a charge between 5% and 20% and the AC adapter is not connected to the computer. The battery has a charge of 20% or less and the AC power adapter is connected to the computer. • The battery is detached. • The battery has a charge of 5% or less and the AC adapter is not connected to the computer. • The computer is powered off or in hibernate mode.
