To obtain copies of the Safety and Warranty Guide or HMM, go to the Support Web site at http://support.lenovo.com. To replace the hard disk drive 1. Remove the computer cover. Refer to "Removing the computer cover". 2. Remove the front bezel. Refer to "Removing the front bezel". 3. Remove the optical disk drive bay. Refer to "Replacing an optical drive". 4. Remove the screw that secures the hard disk drive bay to the chassis. 5. Slide out the hard disk drive bay, then lift it up. To replace the hard disk drive
1.
Remove the computer cover. Refer to “Removing the computer cover”.
2.
Remove the front bezel. Refer to “Removing the front bezel”.
3.
Remove the optical disk drive bay. Refer to “Replacing an optical drive”.
4.
Remove the screw that secures the hard disk drive bay to the chassis.
5.
Slide out the hard disk drive bay, then lift it up. Disconnect the data and power
cables from the hard disk drive.
