8. Connect the antenna cables to the new PCI Express Mini Card as shown in the drawing. 9. Reinstall the computer cover 1 . Then tighten the screw 2 . 10. Reinstall the battery. See "Replacing the battery" on page 63. 11. Turn the computer over again. Connect the ac power adapter and all cables. Prerequisites for replacing or installing the mSATA solid state drive Attention: The mSATA solid state drive is very sensitive. Incorrect handling can cause damage and permanent loss of data. Observe the following guidelines: • Before removing the mSATA solid state drive, make a backup copy of all the information on it, and then turn the computer off. • Do not drop the mSATA solid state drive or subject it to physical shocks. Put the mSATA solid state drive on a material, such as soft cloth, that absorbs any physical shocks. • Do not apply pressure to the cover of the mSATA solid state drive. • Never remove the mSATA solid state drive while the computer is operating, in sleep mode, or in hibernation mode. To replace or install the mSATA solid state drive, do the following: 1. Turn off the computer; then disconnect the ac power adapter and all cables from the computer.
