• Route the cable to your AIS transceiver unit, adding any necessary extension cables. • Connect the cable from the GPS antenna to the GPS connector on the AIS transceiver as shown in Figure 8. The connector type on the AIS transceiver is SO239. Your chosen VHF antenna requires a PL259 connector to mate with this. If your VHF antenna does not use this type of connector, please contact your dealer for details of available adaptors.
