Remote Control • Working Accessory Devices SETTING THE TV REMOTE TO WORK ACCESSORY DEVICES DIRECT ACCESS METHOD Now that you have looked up the three-digit Remote Control Direct Entry Code for your brand of accessory device, you are ready to follow the simple steps shown below. Satellite Receiver Please read through all the steps Cable TV Converter before beginning. BEGIN DVD Move the slide switch on the side of the TV remote to VCR or ACC mode for the device you want. Within 30 seconds, Enter the three-digit ID code (the code is list on pages 45 and 46). Point the remote at the accessory device. Continue trying the code numbers until successful. • If none of the codes listed for the accessory device will work, go to the Search Method on the next page. 43
