abc mode Press # in a text entry screen until you see É in the display, to switch to "abc" text entry mode. To enter text, press a keypad key repeatedly to cycle through the letters and number on the key. Repeat this step to enter each letter. For example, if you press 7 one time, your display might show: Character displays at insertion point.
