NOTES • Numbers can be up to 24 digits long and names up to 12 characters long. Entries are stored in alphabetical order. • Up to 200 phonebook entries can be stored into the base, including the entries created in the base/ handset and entries received from Bluetooth enabled mobile phone. 4.16 Storing a phonebook entry as a one touch number 1. Press . OR Press MENU (Base) to access the phonebook from menu options. 2. Press MENU (Base) and then or to select SPEED DIAL. 3. Press MENU (Base) and then or to select the speed dial key from /1 to WXYZ/9. 4. Press MENU (Base) and then or to scroll to the entry you want. 5. Press MENU (Base) to save the setting. 4.17 Dialing from the phonebook 1. Press and then or to scroll and select the entry you want to dial. Or press MENU (Base) to access phonebook from menu options. 2. Pick up the corded handset or press /HOME to dial the number from the home line. OR Press CELL to dial the number from the cellular line. TIPS Instead of scrolling to browse the phonebook entries, press the numeric key corresponding to the first letter of the entry you wish to locate. For example, pressing ABC/2 will show the entries starting with A. Pressing ABC/2 again will show the entries starting with B, etc. USING YOUR PHONE 29
