1. Press MENU. 2. Press VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to scroll through the menu. 3. Press MENU to open sub-menus and/or save settings. 4. Press /MUTE to go back to previous menu level or cancel an action. If you do not press any button on the cordless handset for 30 seconds, the display will automatically return to standby. It will also return to standby when the handset is placed on the charger. 6.20 Intercom This feature allows you to make internal calls, transfer external home calls between the cordless handset and the corded base or other cordless handset extensions, and use the conference option. NOTE Cellular calls cannot be transferred. 52 6.20.1 Calling another cordless handset or corded base 1. Press MENU and then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to select INTERCOM. 2. Press MENU and then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to select the cordless handset or corded base you want to call. 3. Press MENU to make the call. 4. Press /HOME to hang up. NOTE If the cordless handset is not within the valid operation range, this function may not be available. During an intercom call, you will hear an alert tone if there is an incoming external call. You need to press /HOME to hang up the intercom call before answering the incoming external call. 6.20.2 Transferring an external home call to another cordless handset or corded base 1. During an external home call, press MENU. Your call will be put on hold. 2. Press VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to select the cordless handset or corded base you want to call. 3. Press MENU to make the call.
