Press /HOME to talk to the caller and stop recording. 6.26.8 Deleting all old messages 1. Press MENU and then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to select ANSWER MACHINE. 2. Press MENU and then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to select DEL ALL OLD MSG. 3. Press MENU. DELETE ALL OLD MESSAGES? will be displayed. 4. Press MENU to confirm the setting. NOTE When the answering machine is full, will flash if there are new messages. ERASE SOME ANSWERER MSG will toggle within 2 seconds with MEMORY FULL. At this point, delete some messages to free up the memory. 6.26.9 Remote access Remote access allows you to operate your answering machine and listen to your messages by calling from an external line. To turn the remote access on/off 1. Press MENU and then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to select ANSWER MACHINE. 2. Press MENU and then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to select REMOTE ACCESS. 3. Press MENU and then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to select ON or OFF. 4. Press MENU to confirm the setting. To remotely access your answering system from external line, you need to key in 4-digit security code from an outside phone line (default code is 0000). 58 USING THE PHONE
