Command Line Interface Reference for the ProSafe 7300 Series Layer-3 Switches, Software Ver- 7.2.2 ip dhcp ping packets This command is used to specify the number, in a range from 2-10, of packets a DHCP server sends to a pool address as part of a ping operation. By default the number of packets sent to a pool address is 2 (the smallest allowed number when sending packets). Setting the number of packets to 0 disables this command. Note: The no form of this command sets the number of packets sent to a pool address to 0 and therefore prevents the server from pinging pool addresses. Default Format Mode 2 ip dhcp ping packets Global Config 7.2.2.1 no ip dhcp ping packets This command prevents the server from pinging pool addresses and sets the number of packets to 0. Default 0 Format no ip dhcp ping packets Mode Global Config 7.2.3 service dhcp This command enables the DHCP server.
