Format show port-security violation Mode Privileged EXEC MAC Address MAC Address of discarded packet on locked port. 9.2 Storm Control Commands This section describes commands you use to configure storm control and view stormcontrol configuration information. The storm-control feature measures traffic activity on the physical ports and blocks traffic on the port when the amount of traffic reaches the threshold. Blocking the port helps maintain network performance. 9.2.1 storm-control broadcast This command enables broadcast storm recovery mode. If the mode is enabled, broadcast storm recovery with high and low thresholds is implemented. The threshold implementation follows a percentage pattern. If the broadcast traffic on any Ethernet port exceeds the high threshold percentage (as represented in Table 9-1) of the link speed, the switch discards the broadcasts traffic until the broadcast traffic returns to the low threshold percentage or less. The full implementation is depicted in Table 9-1. Table 9-1.
