White balance can be selected by pressing the U button and rotating the main command dial until the desired setting is displayed in the control panel. U button Main command dial Control panel A The Shooting Menu White balance can also be adjusted using the White balance option in the shooting menu (0 290), which also can be used to fine-tune white balance (0 151) or measure a value for preset manual white balance (0 158). The Auto option in the White balance menu offers a choice of Normal and Keep warm lighting colors, which preserves the warm colors produced by incandescent lighting, while the I Fluorescent option can be used to select the light source from the bulb types. A Studio Flash Lighting Auto white balance may not produce the desired results with large studio flash units. Use preset manual white balance or set white balance to Flash and use fine-tuning to adjust white balance. A See Also When WB bracketing is selected for Custom Setting e6 (Auto bracketing set, 0 338), the camera will create several images each time the shutter is released.
