To enter the settings manually, select Menu > Messaging > My mailbox > Options > Add mailbox > Create manually. You may receive the e-mail configuration settings as a configuration message. Open the mailbox When you open the mailbox, the device asks if you want to connect to the mailbox (Connect to my mailbox?). To connect to your mailbox and retrieve new e-mail headings or messages, select Yes. When you view messages online, you are continuously connected to a remote mailbox using a data connection. To view previously retrieved e-mail messages offline, select No. When you view e-mail messages offline, your device is not connected to the remote mailbox. Write and send an e-mail You can write your e-mail message before connecting to the e-mail service; or connect to the service first, then write and send your e-mail. 1.
