General information This chapter gives you some general information on your new phone and this user's guide. Labels on the phone Your phone has labels on it. These are important for service and related purposes, so be careful not to lose the label or the information it contains. Security code The security code 12345 is supplied with your phone. To avoid unauthorised use of your phone, change the code in the Settings menu, 4-6-5-3. Keep the new code secret and in a safe place which is separate from your phone. FCC Notice - Industry Canada Notice Your phone may cause TV or radio interference (e.g. when using a telephone in close proximity to receiving equipment). The FCC/ Industry Canada can require you to stop using your telephone if such interference cannot be eliminated. If you require assistance, contact your local service facility. This device complies with part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation is subject to the condition that this device does not cause harmful interference. Network services The wireless phone described in this guide is approved for use on the EGSM900 and GSM1900 networks. 10
