Answering a call

1. Press Names and select Speed dials. If no phone number is assigned to a key, press Assign. If a phone number is already assigned to a key, you can view the number, change it or erase it by first pressing Options. NOTE: Assign is also shown when the phone has automatically saved a phone number from the phone book to a speed dialling key. 2. Search for the desired name and/or phone number from phone book, and press OK to select it. Answering a call 1. To answer the call, you can • press or any key except , or Reject or • open the sliding cover. 2. Press to end the call. You can also end the call by closing the sliding cover. TIP: To reject an incoming call, press .If the Divert when busy function is activated to divert the calls, for example to your voice mailbox, rejecting an incoming call will also divert the call. See 'Call Divert'. NOTE: When somebody is calling you, the phone flashes the caller's name or phone number or the text Call. If more than one name is found in the phone book with the same last seven digits as the caller's phone number, only the caller's phone number will be displayed, if this is available. Call waiting This network service allows you to answer an incoming call while you have a call in progress if you have activated the menu function Call Waiting Options (Menu 4-4-5). 1.
