Installing the Boot Manager 2. If the appliance is protected by a password, enter your current password. The program prompts you for the new password. 3. Enter the new password. The program prompts you to reenter the new password for verification. 4. Enter the new password again. Note If you forget your install password, contact the appropriate Nokia Customer Support site as listed in "Nokia Contact Information" on page 3 for information on how to set a new one. Installing the Boot Manager The boot manager is installed at the factory; you should not need to reinstall it. If you should need to reinstall the boot manager, contact the appropriate Nokia customer support site listed in the "Nokia Contact Information" on page 3 for instructions and a new boot manager. The command to install the boot manager has the following syntax: install_bootmgr boot-device boot-file where boot-device is the storage device to which you write the new boot manager image and from which boot manager image loads at boot up. Boot-file is the new boot manager. The new boot manager options are cpipflash, cpvpnflash, nkipflash, and nkvpnflash. Execute the install_bootmgr command from IPSO (the operating system), not from the boot manager. Note To install the new boot manager, you must be in single-user mode.
