How to connect the electronic flash Connecting the underwater optical fiber cable To connect the UFL-2 underwater flash (optional) to the Case using an underwater optical fiber cable (optional), follow the procedures below. How to connect the underwater optical fiber cable 1 Remove the cap of the optical fiber cable insertion slot. En 2 Put the underwater optical fiber cable plug all the way into the optical fiber cable insertion slot. Setting of the digital camera 1 Set the RC mode of the camera to ON so that the camera's built-in flash is activated. 2 Load the camera in the Case with the camera's built-in flash popped up. CAUTION: When using a non-Olympus manufacturer's slave-type flash with underwater optical fiber cable, set the camera's built-in flash to manual. Connecting the underwater optical fiber cable
To connect the UFL-2 underwater flash (optional) to the Case using an underwater optical fiber cable
(optional), follow the procedures below.
Setting of the digital camera

Set the RC mode of the camera to ON so that the camera's built-in flash is activated.

Load the camera in the Case with the camera's built-in flash popped up.
Refer to the UFL-2 instruction manual for the UFL-2 operation.
How to connect the underwater optical fiber
cable

Remove the cap of the optical fiber cable
insertion slot.

Put the underwater optical fiber cable plug all the
way into the optical fiber cable insertion slot.
CAUTION:
When using a non-Olympus manufacturer's slave-type flash with underwater optical fiber cable, set the
camera's built-in flash to manual.
If the camera's built-in flash ratio is more than 1/64, the camera's built-in flash light may reflect in the lens port
and be taken into the picture.
