(P29) 1 Switch the self-timer setting. 1600 1 19 WB REVIEW SET : Self-timer set to 10 seconds ; : Self-timer set to 2 seconds ; No display (canceled) 2 Focus on the subject to take the picture. 1600 1 19 ¬Suggestions/Tips ¬ • When using a tripod or in other cases, setting the self-timer to 2 seconds is convenient to stabilize the jitter caused by pressing the shutter button. • The self-timer indicator 1 blinks and the shutter is activated after 10 seconds (or 2 seconds). • When pressing the button fully at a stroke, the subject is automatically focused just before recording pictures. • In Simple mode [ ], the self-timer can only be set to 10 seconds. • In Self-portrait mode [ ], the self-timer can only be set to 2 seconds. • When setting the self-timer in the burst mode, you can take only 1 picture. • We recommend using a tripod when setting the self-timer. CANCEL MENU • If you press the [MENU] button when the self-timer is set, the self-timer setting is canceled. 43
