Recording pictures (advanced) Setting ISO Sensitivity The ISO setting sets the cameras sensitivity to light. The ISO setting can be increased when you need to take pictures in places where a flash may not be allowed. The overall picture quality will decrease slightly as the ISO setting is increased.
