∫ Advanced Settings Press [OK] to show the following settings: ¾Colour Mode This setting is for selecting colour-space conversion of the image signal. ¾Deep Colour Output This setting is for selecting whether to use Deep Colour Output when a TV that supports Deep Colour is connected. ¾High Dynamic Range Output Output images in HDR (High Dynamic Range) format depending on the content and connected device. ¾Contents Type Flag Depending on the playback content, the TV will output adjusting to the optimal method when a TV that supports this function is connected. ¾Audio Output This setting selects whether or not to output audio from HDMI. ≥ To enjoy audio with the HDMI terminal, select "On". To enjoy audio with an audio output terminal other than the HDMI terminal (OPTICAL/COAXIAL/2ch AUDIO OUT), select "Off". Audio will not be output from the HDMI terminal regardless of the settings for HDMI(VIDEO) Output Mode and HDMI(AUDIO) Output Mode. ¾7.1ch Audio Reformatting Surround sound with 6.1ch or less is automatically expanded and played back at 7.1ch. ≥ If "Off" is selected, sound is played over the original number of channels. (Note that in the case of 6.1ch audio, playback will be at 5.1ch.) ≥ Audio reformatting is enabled in the following cases: - When you have selected "PCM" in "Digital Audio Output". - When the audio is Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD or LPCM. - BD-Video playback *1 A high resolution image/display technology of approximately 4000 (width) k 2000 (height) pixels. *2 A progressive image recorded at a rate of 24 frames per second (motion-picture film). Many BD-Video movie contents are recorded in 24 frames/second in accordance with the film materials. Picture ∫ Still Mode Select the type of picture shown when you pause playback. Automatic Field Frame Automatically selects the type of picture shown. Select if jittering occurs when "Automatic" is selected. Select if small text or fine patterns cannot be seen clearly when "Automatic" is selected. ∫ Seamless Play The chapter segments in playlists are played seamlessly. ≥ Select "On" when the picture freezes for a moment at the chapters segment in playlists. Sound ∫ Dynamic Range Compression You can listen at low volumes but still hear dialogue clearly. (Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby TrueHD only) ≥ "Automatic" is effective only when playing Dolby TrueHD. ∫ Digital Audio Output Press [OK] to show the following settings: ¾ Dolby D/Dolby D +/Dolby TrueHD ¾ DTS/DTS-HD ¾ MPEG Audio Select the audio signal to output. ≥ Select "PCM", when the connected equipment cannot decode the respective audio format.
