Subwoofer Test / Operating Position After removing the boards, the grounds must be reconnected for operation and testing. Procedure: 1. Remove screws to free the bottom frame from the heat sink and PC boards. 2. Rotate the assembly and rest the heat sink on the bottom frame as shown. 3. Connect the ground screw terminal to the heat sink as shown in figure 14. 4. Install the umbilical (system) cable if you are troubleshooting with the control unit, otherwise you will tack in the 10k ohm test resistor to troubleshoot the subwoofer independently (Subwoofer isolation procedure on page 15). 5. The subwoofer assembly is now operational and in a serviceable position. Ground screw terminal Front Bd. After removing the boards, the grounds must be reconnected for operation and
testing.
Procedure:
1. Remove screws to free the bottom frame from the heat sink and PC boards.
2. Rotate the assembly and rest the heat sink on the bottom frame as shown.
3. Connect the ground screw terminal to the heat sink as shown in figure 14.
4. Install the umbilical (system) cable if you are troubleshooting with the control
unit, otherwise you will tack in the 10k ohm test resistor to troubleshoot the
subwoofer independently (Subwoofer isolation procedure on page 15).
5. The subwoofer assembly is now operational and in a serviceable position.
