Before Use Attaching the Hand Strap 1 Insert strap end loop into gap of Attachment Pin. Carrying the Unit 2 Thread opposite end through the end loop and pull strap tight in the direction of arrow. Caution • This unit is a precision device.When carrying this unit, ensure that it does not swing excessively. Do not drop this unit or subject it to strong impacts. Using the Carrying Case 1 Open the carrying case. 2 Insert this unit into the lower compartment. 3 Insert the PC Card HDD case into the upper compartment with the "PC Card HDD" mark facing upward. 4 Close the carrying case. Caution • When transporting the unit, always turn off the power and insert the PC Card HDD into its case and then place the case inside the carrying case. 15
