AUTO MAN ai Programmed AE (lens on "A", shutter dial on "AUTO") This Pentax camera itself automatically selects the most appropriate combination of shutter speed and aperture to obtain proper exposure, changing them simultaneously according to the subject's brightness. The Programmed AE mode is most suitable for advanced photographers who want to shoot very quickly or for novices who do not want to be bothered by setting exposure controls according to light conditions.
