Control panel overview 1. Introduction 19 This control panel may differ from your machine depending on its model. There are various types of control panels. 12   Type A 10 9 8 7 6 1 Display 2 (Back) 1 2 3 4 5 Shows the current status and prompts during an operation. Sends you back to the upper menu level. 3 OK 4 (Cancel) Confirms the selection on the display. Stops current operation. 5 (Power) 6 (Status LED) 7 Numeric keypad 8 Eco 9 Arrows 10 (Menu) You can turn the power on and off with this button. Or wake up from the power save mode. Shows the status of your machine (see "Understanding the status LED" on page 91). Use the keypad to enter numbers and characters. Enters eco mode to reduce toner consumption and paper usage (see "Eco options" on page 49). Navigates available values by moving to the next or previous options. Enters menu mode and scrolls through the available menus.
