Viewing the Connection Panel Rear Panel Jacks Use the rear panel jacks to connect A/V components that will be connected continuously, such as VCR or DVD players. For more information on connecting equipment, see pages 9~15. The product color and shape may vary depending on the model. 1 POWER IN Connect the supplied power cord. 2 DIGITAL AUDIO OUT (OPTICAL) Connect to a Digital Audio component. 3 AUDIO OUT (R/L) Audio outputs to external devices. 4 PC IN[PC]/[AUDIO] Connect to the video and audio output jack on your PC. 5 DVI IN (HDMI 2) (AUDIO-R/L) Connect to the DVI audio output jack of an external device. 6 HDMI IN 1, 2, 3 Connect to the HDMI jack of a device with an HDMI output. (HDMI 2 supports HDMI-DVI IN and connection from a PC.) - H DMI 2 can also be used as a DVI connection with separate analog audio inputs. An optional HDMI/DVI cable will be necessary to make this connection. - W hen using an optional HDMI/DVI adapter, the DVI analog audio inputs on your TV allow you to receive left and right audio from your DVI device. 7 ANT IN Uses a 75Ω Coaxial connector for an Air/Cable Network. 8 LAN Connect a LAN cable to this port to connect to the Network (SAMSUNG's InfoLink Service). (See page 96) 9 COMPONENT IN 1, 2 / AV IN 1 Connects Component video/audio. The COMPONENT IN 1 jack is also used as the AV IN 1 jack. - Connect the video cable to the COMPONENT IN 1 [Y/VIDEO] jack and the audio cable to the COMPONENT IN 1 [R-AUDIO-L] jacks. 0 EX-LINK Connect this to the jack on the optional wall mount bracket. This will allow you to adjust the TV viewing angle using your remote control. ➢ The model PN58A760T1F/PN63A760T1F cannot be wall mounted. The EX-LINK jack on the PN58A760T1F functions as RS-232C control jack. The EX-LINK jack on the PN63A760T1F functions as a service jack. Side Panel Jacks Use the right side panel jacks to connect a component that is used only occasionally, such as a camcorder or video game. The product color and shape may vary depending on the model. 1 HDMI IN 4 Connect to the HDMI jack of a device with an HDMI output. 2 WISELINK PRO Connect a USB mass storage device to view photo files (JPEG), play audio files (MP3) and movie files(AVI). 3 S-VIDEO S-Video input for external devices with an S-Video output. 4 AV IN 2 Video and audio inputs for external devices. 5 HEADPHONE You can connect a set of headphones if you wish to watch a television program without disturbing other people in the room.
