CHAPTER FOUR SPECIAL FEATURES Setting the On/Off Timer To set the TV to automatically turn on or off at a specific time: 1 Press MENU repeatedly until you see the Time menu. Press CH w to select "Timer." 3 Press CH w to highlight "On time." Press VOL +.  Before using the timer, you must set the TV's clock. 2 Press VOL+ to set the timer to "on." 4 Press CH v or CH w to select the hour when you want the TV to turn on.  When you later want to turn the timer off, press - VOL to set the timer to "off."  Make sure the correct time of day (AM or PM) appears to the right of the minutes. CHAPTER FOUR: SPECIAL FEATURES 23

Setting the On/Off Timer
To set the TV to automatically turn on or off at a specific time:

Press
MENU
repeatedly until you see the Time menu. Press
CH

to select “Timer.”
Before using the timer, you must set the TV’s clock.

VOL+
to set the timer to “on.”
When you later want to turn the timer off, press
– VOL
to set the timer to
“off.”

to highlight “On time.” Press
VOL +

to select the hour when you want the TV
to turn on.
