4 Using the BSV-M1 Administration Menu Chapter Overview The BSV-M1 Administration Menu can be used to configure and operate the server. This chapter explains each of the menus in the BSV-M1 Administration Menu. For information on how to access the BSV-M1 Administration Menu through a browser, refer to "Browser" (page 12) in Chapter 2, "Basic Use". See the ARCserve manual for how to configure and use ARCserve. The following menus are included in the BSV-M1 Administration Menu. • System Configuration Menu Use to configure and operate the network and system. • Backup & Restore Menu You can use the backup software (ARCserve). • Maintenance Menu Use to check the system status, restart and shut down the system, and update the system software. • Online Document Menu Use to display the BSV-M1 Online manual (this manual), or the ARCserve Online Manual. Caution Make sure your browser is configured to enable JavaScript. With Internet Explorer 5.0, select "Tools" - "Internet Options" - "Security" - "Custom Level" - "Scripting" - "Active Scripting" - "Enable". Overview
The BSV-M1 Administration Menu can be used to configure and operate the
server. This chapter explains each of the menus in the BSV-M1 Administration
Menu.
For information on how to access the BSV-M1 Administration Menu through a
browser, refer to “Browser” (page 12) in Chapter 2, “Basic Use”.
