Adjust the Contrast of the Liquid Crystal Display Use the control panel to adjust the contrast of the liquid crystal display. 1 Press the [CANCEL] button for about two seconds. Adjust LCD Contrast 2 Use the b button and B button to adjust the contrast. Press the b button to lighten and the B button to darken. 3 Press the [CANCEL] button to return to normal display. Resetting System Repairing the File System Power failures or irregular system shutdowns can cause file system problems. If such a problem arises and a file system error is detected, the message below appears on the display. Repair Filesystem? YES [NO] If such a message appears, follow the procedure below to repair the file system. Note that some files may be damaged as a result. 1 To repair the file system, press the b and B buttons, select "YES", then press the [ENTER] button. Repair Filesystem? YES [NO] If you do not want to repair the file system, select "NO", then press the [ENTER] button. Caution Some data may be lost when you repair the file system. The following message appears. It possibily damages to some files... 2 When this message appears, press the b and B buttons, select "YES", then press the [ENTER] button. Agree to repair? YES [NO] If you do not want to repair the file system, select "NO", then press the [ENTER] button to shut down the system. Appendix 47
