Using the Menu • [EXP. BRKTG] will not function when you have space for fewer than 3 images remaining on the "Memory Stick Duo." • When it is hard to see the difference between the images recorded in [EXP. BRKTG] mode on the LCD screen, connect your camcorder to your TV or a computer. For DCR-HC85: • The images may flicker or discolor when you select [HIGH SPEED]. QUALITY GFINE ( ) STANDARD () Select to record still images with the fine image quality (compressed to about 1/4). Select to record still images with the standard image quality (compressed to about 1/10). IMAGE SIZE For DCR-HC65: G1152 × 864 ( ) 640 × 480 ( Select to record still images for playing on a large screen. This setting can be selected only in the CAMERA-MEMORY mode. ) Select to record many still images or for playing on a small screen. For DCR-HC85: G1600 × 1200 ( 1600 ) 640 × 480 ( Select to record still images for playing on a large screen. This setting can be selected only in the CAMERA-MEMORY mode. ) Select to record many still images or for playing on a small screen. MOVIE SET IMAGE SIZE G320 × 240 ( ) 160 × 112 ( Select to record movies for playing on a large screen, or to record clearer pictures. ) Select to record for longer time. REMAINING GAUTO ON Select to display the remaining capacity of the "Memory Stick Duo" in the following cases: • After inserting a "Memory Stick Duo" with the POWER switch in the CAMERA-MEMORY mode (for about 5 seconds). • When the remaining capacity of the "Memory Stick Duo" is less than 2 minutes after the CAMERA-MEMORY mode is selected. • At the starting or ending point of the movie (for approximately 5 seconds).
