Changing the display

Page 99 highlights

Notes  The Play Timer and Rec Timer will not be activated if the system is turned on or if "STANDBY" flashes in the display. Be sure to turn off the system at least 120 seconds before the preset time.  The volume is reduced to minimum during Rec Timer.  The track numbers are automatically marked when you record more than 60 minutes. Tips  The Play Timer setting remains as long as the setting is not canceled manually.  The Rec Timer is canceled automatically after the Rec Timer has been activated. Changing the display Turning off the display  Power Saving Mode The demonstration display and the clock display can be turned off to minimize the amount of power consumed during standby mode (Power Saving Mode). Press DISPLAY repeatedly while the system is turned off. Demonstration1)  No display (Power Saving Mode)  Clock2)  Demonstration  ... 1) The display changes and the indicators flash even when the system is turned off. 2) The clock display automatically turns to Power Saving Mode after 8 seconds.
