To connect an external microphone 1. Make sure that your microphone is designed for computer use. 2. Locate the Microphone jack on the left panel of the computer. A protruding dot above the Microphone jack distinguishes this jack from the Headphone jack. 3. Plug one end of the microphone cable (not supplied) into the Microphone Connecting External Microphone to the Microphone Jack jack. See the manual that came with your microphone for more information on its installation and use. Page 87
