Adjusting the volume You can adjust the volume for playing or recording, but you can only adjust the recording volume in the Recording Control window. If you adjust the volume, the adjustment is only effective for playing sound. It does not adjust the volume for recording sound. To adjust the volume when playing 1. Double-click Volume icon in the taskbar. The Volume Control window appears. 2. In the Volume Control column, move the slider up for increased volume and down for decreased volume. Sound device Function Volume Control Adjusts the sound level from the speakers or headphones. Wave Adjusts the wavfile sound or the system sound of Windows. SW Synth Adjusts the internal or external synthesizer volume. CD Audio Adjusts the volume of the CD in the optical disc drive. Microphone Adjusts the internal or external microphone volume. Adjusting the volume
You can adjust the volume for playing or recording, but you can only adjust the recording volume in the

To adjust the volume when playing
