PREPARATION FOR USE ENNA/CABLE - CONNECTIONS VHF'/C HE COMBINED /iNTENNA The VHF/UHF Rod Antenna (not supplied) is detachable. Push the stem of the antenna into the hole which is located on the upper back cabinet of the unit. Connect the VHF/UHF Rod Antenna or VHF/UHF Combination Antenna to the ANT. terminal of the TVNCR as shown in the diagram below. For the best reception, extend the VHF/UHF Rod Antenna fully and adjust its position. (Avoid handling the top section when making adjustments.) 1,1117/1411; SEPARATE ANTENNAS In some areas it will be necessary to use an outdoor antenna.
