These last 5 settings differ also in the names that the application sees for each channel, no additional processing is implied. These match the Windows recommended configurations for surround audio playback. Assign WDM Channels Dialog This is the dialog box used to set the WDM input or output mappings. To make a change, follow the steps below. 1. Select a "Speaker" in the Speaker pull-down menu; this corresponds to the names that WDM is concerned with. 2. Select an IF-FW/DM MKII channel in the "Channel" pulldown menu. 3. Click on the Assign button. 4. Repeat for the other speakers available. 5. Click on Close. The OS remembers these settings for you. 32

1.

Select an IF-FW/DM

II channel in the “Channel” pull-
down menu.
3.
Click on the Assign button.
4.
Repeat for the other speakers available.
5.
Click on Close.
