TC-W7960 300Mbps Wireless N DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem Router User Guide  Router Mode - The device enables multi-users to share Internet via cable using its Cable port and share it wirelessly at 300Mbps wireless speeds.  Bridge Mode - In this mode, the modem router can be configured to act as a bridging device between your LAN and your ISP. Bridges are devices that enable two or more networks to communicate as if they are in two segments of the same physical LAN. If you were in Bridge Mode, you could log in the web-based management at 192.168.100.1, and then change the setting to obtain an IP address automatically. After you click the Save button, the modem router will reboot.
