Chapter 11: Optional Functions To use TVR to record: 1. Tap Start, Programs, and then Voice Recorder. Microphone gain control, when Custom AGC Settings. Tap to set optional settings. Tap and hold to display a pop-up menu of actions. Tap to change quality mode HQ (High Quality) or LP (Long Play). Tap to display version information. 2. Tap Record button. Your Pocket PC starts recording a clip immediately. 3. Tap Stop button to stop recording. File names listed as "TVRMMDDYYYYHHMMSS.wav". These are in the date (DD/MM/YEAR HH:MM:SS), length (HH:MM:SS) and quality (LP/HQ) format. NOTE You can toggle between time recorded and time available to record given storage in current media at the current record quality level. To play a file from the TVR: 1. On the TVR screen, tap on the clip name. 2. Tap Play button. You can also play the file by scrolling with the scroller then pressing the scroller. 3. Tap Stop button to stop. NOTE You can tap on the time display to toggle between time played and time left to play. To use TVR to record:
1.
Tap
Start

Tap
Record
button. Your Pocket PC starts recording a clip immedi-
ately.
3.
Tap
Stop
button to stop recording. File names listed as “TVRMMD-
DYYYYHHMMSS.wav”. These are in the date (DD/MM/YEAR
HH:MM:SS), length (HH:MM:SS) and quality (LP/HQ) format.
To play a file from the TVR:
1.
On the TVR screen, tap on the clip name.

Tap
Play
button. You can also play the file by scrolling with the scrol-
ler then pressing the scroller.
3.
Tap
Stop
button to stop.
You can toggle between time recorded and time available
to record given storage in current media at the current
record quality level.
You can tap on the time display to toggle between time
played and time left to play.
Clips recorded on the TVR can be played on computers
with Windows 200 and Windows XP operating systems
with Windows Media Player.
