Caller ID Caller ID history How the caller ID history (call log) works The telephone stores caller ID information about the last 50 incoming calls in the telephone base. Entries are stored in reverse chronological order. The phone deletes the oldest entry when the log is full to make room for new calls. This information is common to all handsets and the base, so changes made using any handset or the telephone base are reflected in all. If you answer a call before the information appears on the screen, it does not show in the caller ID history. NOTE: Each entry may have up to 24 digits for the phone number and 15 characters for the name. Missed (new) calls indicator When a cordless handset or the telephone base is in idle mode and has new or missed calls, the screen shows XX Missed call(s). HANDSET 1 6 MISSED CALLS All new or missed entries are counted as missed calls. Each time you review a call log entry on a cordless 10:01AM 10/15 handset with the icon NEW, or review a call log entry on the telephone base with the icon NEW , the number of missed calls decreases by one. Robert Brown 888-883-2445 If you do not want to review the missed calls one by one, but you still want to keep them in the caller ID history, NEW 09:01AM 10/15 when the cordless handset or the telephone base is idle, BASE you can press and hold OFF/CLEAR for four seconds 1 Missed call on a cordless handset, or press and hold CANCEL for four seconds on the telephone base.
