Telephone settings Key tone You can turn the key tone on or off. 1. Press MENU/SELECT when the handset is not in use. 2. Press VOL/ message prior to playing it. Answering system settings Call screening You can listen at the telephone base to a caller leaving a message. If you want to turn off the call screening feature, set the call screening off on the handset. Remember to increase the volume in order to hear your messages during playback. Press any key on the telephone base (except /FIND HANDSET) to temporarily silence the message alert tone. Announcement The telephone is preset with a greeting that answers calls with "Hello, please leave a message after the tone."
